HOW TO- MY SPRAY BOTTLE MIXTURE/Ready for Summer

I totally love making my own haircare products since i embarked on this journey, it has allowed me to use exactly what i want to my without spending too much (am sure a lot of Nigerians can relate #recession....lol).
Depending on the butter, oil or emollient agent used in addition to your main component Water, you too can create your own special blend of moisturizing/protecting hair mist for very little money.
What you need to put in your Spray bottle:
- Glycerin
- Carrier Oils
- Leave-in Conditioner
- Essential Oil
- Aloe Vera Juice
- Honey
- Water 80%
DIY Home Spritz:
Moisturizing: For dry brittle hair, vegetable glycerin is a natural humectant that will help your hair to retain moisture and also attract moisture from your surrounding atmosphere. You can refrigerate and use mixture for up to 5 days.
NB: Always shake before Use.
- 1/4 cup of water
- 2 tsp Aloe Vera juice
- 1 tsp Vegetable Glycerin
- 2 tsp Apricot oil
- 2 tsp Vitamin E oil
- 2 tsp Sesame Oil
Itchy Scalp: Tea-tree is known to be good for itchy scalp because of its anti-fungal, anti-bacterial & anti-septic properties, Aloe vera and Jojoba will help strengthen and moisturize hair. Refrigerate and use for up to 7 days.
- Boil 1/2 cup of water
- Add 2 organic tea bag
- Allow mixture to cool
- Add 2-3 drops of Tea-tree oil
- 2 tsp Aloe Vera
- 2 tsp Jojoba oil
- 1.5 tsp Grapseed oil
Raw Honey Moisturizer: Honey is a natural humectant that will help your hair attract and retain moisture while preventing frizz. Coconut Oil is a moisturizing oil that can penetrate your hair follicles and add moisture from the inside out.
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 2-3 drops lavender oil
