HOW TO - DIY CURLS ON NATURAL HAIR

Achieving curls on natural hair for many naturalists can be frustrating and saddening, most especially if you have someone do the same thing you do and they achieve theirs while you struggle with yours.....Well let me share a little technique with you and hopefully you can thank me later.

DIY curl process-how I achieved mine:

  • Apply Mayonnaise on whole head of hair
  • Do a two-strand twist and knot in Bantu style
  • Cover with plastic cap & let sit for 2 hrs 30 minutes
  • Wash off with sulfate-free shampoo and condition as usual
  • Rinse with lukewarm water
  • Two-strand twist again and knot in Bantu
  • Sleep with satin bonnet over the Bantu
  • Unravel at dawn using coconut oil
  • Apply your spritz, Jbco and Shea butter or Eco styler (if you want)
  • Style as pleased.

You can achieve curls using different methods such as:
  • Using curl formers

If the above process has worked for you or still works for you, please share experience with us, if possible send us pictures.

NB: You don't have to follow my own process, most times what works for me may not work for you, all you need is to experiment with different products till you find what works best for you and stick to it.
