GROW BACK YOUR EDGES

Hello Beautiful, been a while I posted on here, so sorry I have been ill but am much better now thanks to God.

Today, I will be giving simple hints on how to grow your edges back in simple steps, so stay with me.

Any man/woman can experience thinning, breaking or balding edges at any point in time & there are several reasons to why our hairlines can thin out.
These can be very upsetting and embarrassing for many of us, that's why am here to help by providing you with this information!

Steps to grow back your Edges

  • Scalp massages- this method helps stimulate the skin & encourages blood vessels to increase blood flow & boost circulation to the scalp & hair follicles which provides nutrients that aid in hair growth.
  • Scalp stimulating oils- applying oil mixture to your edges also aid in re-growing your hair, a mixture of Vitamin E oil with any essential oil or carrier oil such as Coconut, Lavender, Peppermint, Olive & Jamaican Black Castor oils will help promote hair growth.
  • Avoid chemicals- keep your face cleansers, moisturizers & makeups from your hairline, they may cause more damage to the fragile areas you are trying to regrow.
  • Incorporate hair supplements- this will help encourage hair growth
  • Sleep in a satin bonnet/pillow case- cotton pillowcases will absorb the natural oils & moisture out of your hair & this can lead to hair breakage. Your edges need these oil & moisture hence, you should pamper your hairline/edges with the right night time treatment.
  • Stay away from brushes & edge control- a lot of ladies talk about keeping baby hair by using gels & brushes, i will say STOP stressing your hair out, leave the baby hairs for the babies & leave your edges alone!
  • Avoid tight protective styles- we all want our hairstyles to last YES, but please not at the detriment of our edges, the tighter a style stays on our head, the more tension you are applying hence, it becomes easier for our strands to break so please avoid such hairstyles.
  • Stop the use of glues, adhesives or wig caps- they do not allow the scalp to breath & our scalp needs some air!
